It's my privilege and honor to invite you and your team to Orlando on April 13 & 14, 2002 for the 2nd annual Festival of Speed.  As you know the race is an NRC event - and that in only it's 2nd year!!  That really says something about the quality of event we put on.  

Festivus 2 (the unofficial name) is set to go even higher than our first year with partners like the City of Orlando and the Central Florida Sports Commission.  Both organizations are living proof that cycling is alive and doing very well in the United States.  Their staff and support is of the highest caliber and will ensure that Festivus 2 will be talked about for a long time to come.

It's my hope that your racing allows you and your family to come to Orlando - here are some reasons:

-Enjoy thousands of spectators.
-Motor paced sprints (this event pays).
-Festivals.
-Music.
-Food.
-KILLER racing - Saturday's criterium is a super fast,  technical 2K, 4 corner rectangle.  Turn 2 will take you from 1 wide road to 2 narrow cobblestone avenues while turn 3 puts you back on a wide road.  The Sunday circuit race is a 5K highly technical circuit.
-Start a 3 consecutive weekend assault on NRC points in the SE United States - Orlando, Shelby and Athens.
-We're the only NRC race in the spring where the temperature will actually be warm.
-We have Shamu.
-We have Mickey.
